WE ARE NEXT RECRUITING IN SEPTEMBER 2023!

Welcome to our squadron website

I would like to welcome you to our Squadron website. Here, you will find a lot of interesting information!

If you are aged between 12 (Year 8 in Secondary School) and 17 years, you might want to join the UK’s premier uniformed youth organisation, The Air Training Corps (part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets). The ATC has aviation at the heart of its activities and is supported by the Royal Air Force. There is something for everyone in the Air Cadets and I encourage you to explore every opportunity on offer, be it flying and gliding, adventure training, sport, music, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, drill and ceremonial, academic studies, community and charity work, target shooting, UK and overseas camps at RAF Stations and Wing organised training weeks and weekends.

The Air Cadets are the main public face of the Royal Air Force so our cadets wear their uniform with pride and behave in a manner that reflects the professionalism, discipline and high standards of the Royal Air Force, however the ATC’s motto is ‘Venture Adventure’ so expect a lot of fun and excitement during your time as a cadet!

If you’d like more information, please contact us either through our ‘Contact Us’ form, by email or by telephone.
